  • How many tables and chairs are included in my package?

    All of our packages currently include 10 Round tables, and 8 of our 6' rectangular tables. 


    The celebration package allows for up to 30 guest chairs, The Ultimate package allows for 50 guest chairs, and V.I.P package allows for 60 guest chairs.

  • What is included with the cost of the studio?

    Every package includes tables, chairs, and the use of the space. The studio also comes with LED lights, a Bluetooth speaker, and a wireless microphone.

  • How long do I have to clean up after my event?

    We currently allow 30 minutes after your event for clean up. Additional hours are $100.00 per hour. If you would like clean up services, you may add them during booking.

  • How late can my event be?

    Events at XDS can be booked typically until 12:00 am. Additional fees apply for bookings until 2:00 am.

  • Can I have Alcohol at my event?

    Yes. You must obtain an ABC Banquet license for the event. You will need a contract from us verifying you have an active agreement with us for the date of your event.

  • Do I have to pay the full amount now?

    Yes- for a limited time. 

    Our current rates reflect a special advance- booking offer where the listed price covers the entire event. 


    These prices are normally 50% deposits, with the remaining balance due before the event. Once the next few bookings are secured, regular pricing resumes.

  • Do I have to pay the full amount in order to book the celebration package?

    Yes, full payment is required to reserve the Celebration package. An additional fee of $50.00 will apply if you book the same month as the event. This applies only to the Celebration package, as full payment is required to book it. 


    The Ultimate and V.I.P packages require only a deposit if booked in advance, but full payment is due if booked the same month. Therefore, booking the Celebration package the month of the event results in a late booking fee.

  • Can I use my own vendor/Decorator?

    Currently, yes. XMotive allows you to use your own vendor selections. Soon, this will change, and all vendors wishing to be part of a client's event will need to be registered in our new vendor directory.

  • Do you all set up tables and chairs for the event?

    We do not provide setup services. XMotive rents the studio space, and you are welcome to decorate and set it up as you wish.

  • Can I add additional hours for my event?

    Yes! Additional hours can be added for $100.00 per hour. Events cannot be extended past 2:00 AM.

  • If I have questions can I speak to someone?

    Yes! If you have questions about booking the studio, please call 757.504.0846. For bookings already made, please call 757.263.0592.

  • What is the latest I can request a additional hour?

    Given our studio now allows for multiple bookings daily, please inform us as soon as possible if you wish to add an extra hour to your event. This allows us to update our calendar and avoid any scheduling conflicts.

  • How does booking the studio exactly work? I am a little confused.

    All event bookings must go through our website in order to keep a clear calander for upcoming events. 


    When booking the total amount of the package is listed below the deposit amount. The deposit amount is 50% of the total amount due. The remainder will be sent via email in invoice form to you the day before your event. 



  • Do you all provide refunds?


    All deposits are non-refundable promotional "deposit only" specials are considered full payment for reserving your event date.


    Once a date is secured, it is removed from our public availabiltiy and cannot be refunded due to cacellation, guest count changes or booking a different venue.

  • What if there is bad weather the day of my event?

    If your event has to be cancelled due to inclement weather or natural disaster XMotive will allow for a rescheduled date  that is not already booked.

  • How do I get access to the studio the day of my event?

    We will provide you with a code that can be used to access the studio. The code will work exactly at the start time of your setup. This is normally sent to you the day of your event via text or email. 


    The access to the studio will be in rear door of the space.

  • Do you all charge taxes and fees?

    XMotive proccesses all payments through our merchant. Taxes/fees are charged for events where applicable. 

  • Am I allowed to have a DJ at my event?

    We do allow for you to have a DJ at your event the DJ must arrive during your scheduled booking time. Earlier access can result in additional charges.

  • When/How will I process the remaining balance?

     If booking a month or more in advance  the studio booking system will collect only the 50%  deposit amount.


    The remaining 50% balance  will be emailed and invoiced to you a day before your event. When the email comes you will be able to process the payment.

  • What happens after I book my date?

    Once you book your date using our online booking system, you will receive an automatic confirmation email. Your date is then confirmed in our system and can no longer be booked or made available to the public during that time frame. 


    XMotive will email you a contract for your event within 24 to 48 hours of your booking. Please note that contracts may not be sent on the weekend.

  • I booked my date but it is still showing available?

    The system only blocks out the time frame of your event. Based on our studio availability, we may allow for a booking to happen at a different time frame, before or after your event. Rest assured, your date is secure if you have received a confirmation email.

  • What happens if we accidentally damage equipment?

    Please be mindful of the equipment used for your event as if damage occurs a fee will be assessed for the damage caused. Please note most of our events do not have issues but if so a charge will be processed accordingly.
